Korea and the Nuclear Bomb Crisis

The US has confirmed the suspected nuclear test that had been carried out by Korea about a week ago. Hitherto this point only Russia had confirmed that a nuclear test had been conducted. The nuclear explosion itself is thought to be about one tenth that of the bomb suffered by Hiroshima. Moscow and Beijing appear to be at least cautious if not in opposition to imposing sanctions on North Korea. The Russian representative involved regarding the issue of the nuclear test has reportedly called for objectivity as opposed to emotional reaction in respect to the ‘crisis.’ The UN security counsel was unanimous in its vote on the imposition of sanctions as a result of the test but Russia had earlier expressed the need to avoid extreme sanctions. China and the US will probably differ in the manner that they do inspections with the US intending to engage in mid-sea inspections or “interdiction.” The sanctions will target luxury goods and military items. Japan may have taken measures a step further though by banning trade and travel and by barring Korean ships from Japanese ports. Korea seems defiant and there may be reason to believe that the country may intend some type of countermeasures.

The latest indications are the Kim Jong-il remains “defiant” in respect to his having carried out a nuclear test. North Korea comes under the cosmic influence of Scorpio and at this time we see the Current (10/16/06) position of the stars during the crisis with North Korea’s testing of a nuclear bomb. Notice that the ruler of the sign which rules Korea which sign is Scorpio, is Pluto which is currently in fiery Sagittarius but which is not really conflicted with any other major body within our solar system currently. However Pluto is conjuncting the two fixed stars and the tail of the Scorpion at present, that is, in the stinger of the Scorpion which is certainly a dangerous sign. The prediction of this writer is that there will not be a conflict at this time, particularly on the basis of Korea’s bomb as lacking development. With respect to the future, the better choice can be made towards permanent peace with N. Korea but both the dictatorship of Kim Jong-il and the imperialistic hegemony of the current US regime must end.
